Our comprehensive resource list is an all-inclusive, intentionally curated network of free and low-cost services and resources to help mums access the support necessary for healthy parenting. Each of the resources included is also committed to utilizing the five principles of trauma-informed care.
Together, in partnership with those identified in our resource list, we work to provide resources our mums can trust. These resources are compiled from across the island and greater state of Hawai’i. They can be searched and are constantly updated by our team. This guide was created to provide real-time access to trauma-informed resources across the island.
The Kauai Rural Health Association is committed to recruiting and retaining rural health care providers. Also, to conduct health care training and planning symposiums for rural health care providers on the island of Kauai. Find out more about programs available in rural and remote areas of the island to promote and protect your family’s safety.

Caring for Yourself: The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with energy costs. This organization provides federal funding to help with home energy bills, home repairs, and other home energy repairs.
