Our comprehensive resource list is an all-inclusive, intentionally curated network of free and low-cost services and resources to help mums access the support necessary for healthy parenting. Each of the resources included is also committed to utilizing the five principles of trauma-informed care.
Together, in partnership with those identified in our resource list, we work to provide resources our mums can trust. These resources are compiled from across the island and greater state of Hawai’i. They can be searched and are constantly updated by our team. This guide was created to provide real-time access to trauma-informed resources across the island.
Caring for Baby Nutrition: SNAP assists in providing both you and baby budget support to help purchase more healthy food for a nutritious diet! With a larger food budget, SNAP helps in accessing those key nutrients for baby and family. SNAP benefits and applications can be completed at 808-274-3371!

HAWAII WIC PROGRAM BACKGROUND In its concern over the high infant mortality rate in the United States and the health and nutritional status of pregnant women and young children, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Services is a nutrition program that provides qualifying families with health education, supplemental foods, and referrals. The program serves pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under the age of five. Waimnalo Health Center (WHC) is committed to providing the highest level of primary and preventive health services, with special attention to the needs of Native Hawaiians and the medically underserved, and improving the health and wellness of individuals and their 'ohana regardless of their ability to pay.
